Bride Daneris comes with her mother to the Venetian to see her table for the wedding. The table is inspired by fall with a new "twist" on colors such as copper,bronze, pumpkin and apricot. Florist Cindy Zack says that they're not the original wedding flowers. The camel and coffee break roses are from Ecuador, the dendrobium cymbidium orchids are from New Zealand and the centerpieces feature bronze copper leaves and dyes champagne feathers in an amber vase. Crystal's were also added to add a little bling (Or lots of it). The twenty two centerpieces in total cost $15000. The church decorations cost $8000.
Custom ginger crinkle linens cost $4,500 and gold chiavari chars with gold bengaline are $4000 to match gold lamour napkins with 350 bling buckles that cost $2,800.
Next we go to Albreto Sanchez couture where the bride will try own her custom gown with her mother. Her mother get's emotional because it's her first daughter getting married. Maybe it's the $6,000 price tag that's making Mama J cry. "We're gonna add more crystals on it" the bride says of her veil which she let the designer design.
Now it's time for the best part of the Wedding.FOOD! The appetizer is a parmesan cheese basket with spring greens in it and figs. The couple are looking forward to entertaining the guests and making sure everyone's satisfied with the food. The entree choices includ a pan-seared salmon over sweet potatoes with a portobello mushroom, roasted tomato, broccoli rabe and garlic white wine sauce, Another choice of a breast of chicken stuffed with prosciutto and sundried tomatoes topped with mozzarella and a sage wine sauce served with baby French string beans, and a Filet Mignon(Or Minyun as the chef says it) served with garlic mashed potatoes, asparagus bundles, a roasted bell pepper and crispy onions. When asked what they will get Daneris wants filet mignon and Hector wants all three.
Daneris and Hector had the big white wedding mass and are already Mr and Mrs H. When the guests arrive to custom ice sculptures and martini luges which set them back $800 they stuff themselves silly on two carving stations with lamb and suckling pig, a pasta station, a seafood station with lobsters, shrimp, clams, oysters and king crab legs, a grilling station, cheese station, salads and sushi. Cocktail hour's extravaganza of food is $12,000. When guests come to the ballroom $30,000 of flowers are evident along with $15,000 decor accents and $10,000 of lounge decor. The overall reception decor is $100,000. As Hector claims that they both come from cultures that like to eat and drink the four course sit-down dinner for 200 guests is setting them back $70,000. I just lost my appetite. Daneris' sister preforms a mambo dance which blows the crowd away. Daneris changes into a $3,000 white, short and sparkly number . The cake is a $4,000 5 tier masterpiece with sugar flowers that's "sparkly and tasty" As Daneris puts it. The cocktail hour room is transformed into a $6000 dessert paradise with 40 different desserts that feature mini pastries, Ice Cream, Sorbet, Cannoli's, Chocolate fountains, Candies, Cotton candy and much much more.
The wedding was klassy with some of the decor and classy with the food. Total Cost: 290,300.
